We are in need of the following items to use for props. Please send them to school asap if we can use them. Label the items!
-old calculator, the kind that has a roll of paper
-changing screen, with 3 or 4 sections
-brief case
-cassette or CD of break dance music
-old CD's - lots of them! We're making a special set piece with these. (These will not be returned.)
Saturday, February 6 - We will not need people to come in and work. The set and props are nearly
completed!
Saturday, February 13 - 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon - There will be rehearsals throughout the morning,
most likely for singers and main characters. Watch for more details next
week, and please plan to have your child attend if at all possible. Thanks!
Please let me know if you are available to help with any of the parent jobs listed on the "Parent Volunteers" page. We'll need parents to set up and take down the stage (it's not difficult), to help students with hair and make up before the shows, to help backstage during the shows (again, not difficult), to set up the lobby for the evening shows, and to organize the simple cast party. It takes many hands to put together this show!

Next Monday students must be "off book." This means they will not be allowed to use their scripts while rehearsing with me. They need to practice their lines at home!
